Abstract:

The article is an attempt to describe typological parameters of polypredicative reason constructions. On one hand, the article is aimed at describing semantic types of reason constructions, as well as their eventual additional meaning, such as the reality of reason, the objectivity of reason, temporal distance, etc. On the other hand, it features such typological parameters as the type of reason markers, the position of the reason clause, the TAM categories of the reason clause, contextual restrictions and interaction with the information structure.
