Sociolinguistics in Ukraine: Post-Soviet period.

The article describes ways of development of the Ukrainian language during the post-Soviet period. Basic problems (language situation in the Ukraine, language policy and mixing of languages) are discussed. Controversial problems of the language situation in the Ukraine are also treated.
