Abstract:

In Modern Russian, there are two types of phonetic means to delimit morphemes and words: signals of juncture resulting from the tendency towards a clear isolation of morphemes within phonetic words and signals of separateness that allow to emphasize the “sovereignty” of the first parts of composites, prepositions, prefixes, and clitics of different types.
